OpenInsight 9.0
Based upon an unanimous decision at our User's Conference last month, it has been decided to rename the next major release of OpenInsight to 9.0 instead of 8.1. With over 4,000 changes made to OpenInsight already, this just makes sense.

OpenInsight 8.0.6
OpenInsight release 8.0.6 is now available for download from the Works download section of our web site. The 8.0.6 release can only be applied to 8.0.3, 8.0.4 and 8.0.5 releases. Earlier releases need to be upgraded to at least 8.0.3 to apply this upgrade. If you are upgrading from release 8.0.3, 8.0.4 or 8.0.5 you will receive your authorization code via an automated email upon submitting your request.

OI for Web is Now Available for Download
OI4Web is a tool that allows developers to access their OpenInsight data through a web browser. While most often used with Active Server Pages (ASP), OI4Web provides an "object" that can be used in any development environment that allows for the creation and invocation of ActiveX objects.

With OI4Web, you can call an OpenInsight stored procedure and process the returned data; your ASP page can then display or utilize this data as appropriate.

The OI4Web object communicates with OpenInsight via Revelation's EngineServer technology. OI4Web communicates with the EngineServer using an 'asynchronous' connection; multiple client requests may be processed with a single, or a few, OpenInsight licenses. Also, through the use of the EngineServer's open communication standard, it is possible to deploy the web server and OpenInsight systems on different servers. UNIVERSAL DRIVER 4.5

  • Compiled with the latest version of Visual Studio
  • Improved performance in the LH Manager
