New York City’s Jacob Javits Center was the scene of the 2nd Annual CeBIT America conference. Attendees totaled over 10,000. Revelation Software, a first time exhibitor, at the show welcomed hundreds visitors during the three day event.

Many demos of Revelation’s flagship product OpenInsight were given by, Sean FitzSimons and Mike Ruane. Visitors to the booth included past developers of Revelations award-winning product, Advanced Revelation. They were thrilled to reconnect with the Revelation team and see first hand the many features of the current product, OpenInsight. Many visitors were also eager to learn about OIL, OpenInsight for Linux. The fact that you can develop an application in Windows and deploy it in Linux made a significant impression on attendees.

Katie Moran was also on hand to speak to attendees about the companies marketing activities and future product direction. This year’s conference included events for high school and college technology students. Students stopped by the booth to learn about OpenInsight’s unique multi-value database structure. Revelation Software volunteered to donate mouse-pads for use in several local high schools. Teachers were pleased to learn that OpenInsight is currently taught at the University of DC and course offerings are being considered in several high schools throughout the country.

Revelation looks forward to exhibiting at future CeBIT conferences.
