HAPPY HOLIDAYS
We at Revelation Software want to wish you and yours a happy and healthy holiday season. We will kick off 2011 with the release of OpenInsight Development Suite 9.2.1 which will include many newFEATURES AND PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS. Later in the year our Revelation Users' Conference 2011 will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, October 4th - Friday October 7, 2011. Following the 9.2.1 release will be the implementation of Data Encryption at Rest within the OpenInsight database environment. We are also in the beginning stages of implementing database development for social networking platforms as well as a 64-bit implementation of OpenInsight.

OPENINSIGHT 8.X AND BELOW PRICING
Effective January 1, 2011 pricing for OpenInsight SDP's (Runtime and Developer), Annual License Renewals and the "pay for versions" of the Universal Driver will increase by 20%. All OpenInsight 9.x pricing will remain the same. For a complete list of the new pricing click HERE.

Did you know...In OpenInsight 9.2.1 and above, when using CTO or AREV32, it is now possible to debug your processes using the graphical OpenInsight debugger (as opposed to the character-based alternate debugger that is used by default in CTO and AREV32). READ ON...

VIDEO OF THE MONTH
This month we are presenting a video tutorial on O4W's Report Wizard. Create browser-based interactive reports in just minutes using the O4W Report Wizard. This 10 minute video explains the report wizard options, how to choose report fields, and set sort and search options. As a final demonstration step the generated report layout is modified by hand without the report wizard. All steps are completed without writing any code yet still result in useful and customizable results. The demonstration report is built from a TigerLogic D3 example database but any OpenInsight compatible database can be used. You can view the video HERE.

Our REVELATION ESTORE now accepts secure payments from PayPal. The PayPal interface was written using our O4W API's which are documented in the O4W REFERENCE GUIDE.
