Did you know...That you can deploy your O4W application in an environment where IE6 or IE7 is the standard browser.
IE6 and IE7 suffers from many issues which make modern web applications render incorrectly.
Google has provided an answer in the form of Google Frame, an ActiveX control that allows Google Chrome to run inside of IE. The frame only runs if a page has a special meta-tag in it. The result? Your Chrome-enabled pages work correctly without no effect on the IE6 or IE7 based legacy applications.
Starting with OpenInsight 9.2.1, O4W applications automatically try the Google Frame control when they detect a browser that needs it. If present the frame is used, if missing the tag is ignored and the page is drawn by the old browser. Thus, when deploying an O4W application into an environment where IE6 or IE7 is the corporate standard you can recommend that they deploy the Google Frame control for best user experience.
